PAOLO SEMINARA: the designer

PAOLO SEMINARA was born in Sicily on March, 10, 1946 from a poor farmer family. When he was about a boy his family moved near Florence and PAOLO SEMINARA decided to study as optician in the world famous NATIONAL INSTITUT OF OPTICAL of Arcetri, which is located near Florence.
After he graduated to optician he started to work as optician and photographer, and after 3 years he became agent for the German companies ESHENBACH and ATELIER.
In 1973 the decisive carried out! He opened a company by his own self, and registered the trade mark VOGUE.
Since this magic moment, PAOLO SEMINARA started to design sunglasses and frames with the brand VOGUE.
VOGUE appeared in 1973: a brand new, decidedly fashion product, in constant search of something new.
Then, 15 years ago, NOUVELLE VAGUE, more sophisticated glasses based on extreme refinement both in the chromatists and in the technological research, today glasses are an almost indispensable "dress" for the face. A fashion, a label which classes us as belonging to a precise social group: an indispensable accessory to improve one's image in others eyes.
The positive trend of ITALIAN STYLE, FLORENCE, ITALY, the company which distributes the NOUVELLE VAGUE and PAOLO SEMINARA brands in Italy and abroad carries on.
The stylistic element which characterizes these collections stems from the mind and hands of PAOLO SEMINARA.
